She is now an art major at Otterbein University, specializing in photography and graphic design as a double concentration.

Her achievements include receiving the Otterbein University Talent Scholarship Award in 2022 and participating in the 26th Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition at the Miller Gallery, Otterbein University, in 2023. Additionally, she has gained professional experience working as a second wedding photographer for Classic Photographers.

Artist Statement

My artwork is a vibrant exploration of loud identity, challenging stereotypes, and dynamic expression. Utilizing a variety of mediums such as photography, digital art, painting and drawing, I aim to create immersive and inspirational pieces that are both reflective and daring. I create expressive portraits that challenge conventional norms and provoke deeper thought.

I explore different styles of photography, refusing to be confined to a single category. From capturing candid moments to transforming ordinary photos into completely new concepts, my art defies expectations and invites viewers to see beyond the surface. Art and photography are my escape from reality, and I find great joy in seeing people in shock or admiring my work. Personal experiences fuel my creativity, pushing me to create pieces that resonate on a deeper level.

Drawing inspiration from a wide variety of artists such as the Ohio photographer, David Beckham and the fashion designer, Betsy Johnson, my process is fluid and ever evolving. I often start with one idea, only to find a new direction as I work. This spontaneity is a core part of my creative journey. I hope my viewers experience a range of emotions and interpretations, as I have never aimed to dictate a specific feeling through my art. Instead, I embrace the ambiguity and the different reactions my work can evoke.
